SKS Japan 2023: Global Food Tech Summit

In 2017, SKS Japan, a Japanese adaptation of the Global Food Tech Summit, was introduced. SKS founded in the United States with a theme of “Food x Technology & Science”. It aims to envision the future of food beyond industries and business based on the vision of the future food system, understanding the essence of diverse food values, and co-creation. Since then, culinary inventors from all over the world including the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America—have gathered at SKS Japan. 

Yukikawa Brewery representative Mr. Yamahira stepped away from the IT world to focus on making wine. He became involved in the food-related business of making wine and became deeply interested in its technology advancement. He was amazed by the innovations is launched in the food industry and took the opportunity to participate in the conference to have a better understanding.
