How People in Japan Celebrate White Day

Valentine’s Day is a day where chocolates are given out, cards are given out, and love is shown. But have you heard of White Day?

Women give gifts to men on February 14th in Japan, and on White Day, women receive gifts return (お返し okaeshi, which means “a return“) from the men to whom they gave Valentine’s Day presents.

It’s more about giving gifts than going out to dinner or getting the “ideal date” on White Day.
