The Tokyo Olympics is not cancelled!

The Tokyo Olympics calls to ditch the Games in the face of the pandemic is getting louder by the day as Covid-19 cases spiked, as more athletes tested positive for the virus. Held every four years, the world’s preeminent sporting competition, Tokyo Olympics, is not cancelled and will run from July 23 to August 7, 2021.

Organizers, for whom International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach said cancelling the event had never been an option, have promised to keep the Games “safe and secure.”
